My main job as a school counselor
My main job as a school counselor is to guide and support students so they can succeed in school and in life. I help them with academics, emotions, behavior, and planning their future. Most importantly, I make sure every student feels supported, safe, and capable of moving forward — with steady and consistent guidance.
What’s most important to me
Relationship building — earning mutual respect and showing students they’re truly valuable, the same way trust is built out on the ranch: steady, honest, and with a calm hand.
My core belief about student success
Students succeed when they feel seen and respected, just like a young horse thrives when it knows it’s understood — and when students realize they can teach me something too.
How do we help students, parents, and teachers?
At CoachCrumpsCounseling, I tailor support to meet the unique needs of every member of our school community. For students, I offer individualized guidance, academic planning, and social-emotional support. For parents, I provide resources, communication, and partnership to navigate their child's educational journey. For teachers, I collaborate on classroom interventions, offer consultation, and connect them with tools to support student well-being and academic growth. Our goal is to ensure everyone feels heard, valued, and empowered to contribute to a successful learning environment.

Crump’s Counseling is different because it’s built on real‑life experience, steady leadership, and a ranch‑style approach to supporting students. I don’t just offer guidance — I build relationships, earn trust, and help students find their footing with the same patience and consistency you’d use working a young horse.
This program stands out because it’s led by someone who has lived through challenges, overcome adversity, and brings a cowboy’s work ethic to helping students grow. With experience in agriculture, military service, disaster response, and mentoring youth, I provide support that is practical, grounded, and genuinely caring.
